Whirly Bird is a new bar and eatery in Sydney’s Pyrmont. Our objective was to create a brand identity which appealed the local Pyrmont work crowd, who were described as professional yet creative with sophisticated tastes. They wanted it to be lively and fun yet still approachable and welcoming. We were also briefed that the venue would have a slightly concept driven food offering centred around chicken, they wanted to introduce this in a way that was fun and creative.

The brand we created is a contemporised & quirky take on traditional chicken shops, the kind you’d see in every town back in the day. The result is a venue that’s fun, charismatic and energetic, yet still a comfortable and welcoming local haunt… it feels like its always been here.
